Shook

Unattractive self inflicting vertical pain
Lay beside the curtains
The words of acknowledgment repeating
Sticking to the side panels
Glued to images
Watching the movements of spiders
Slipping through the cracks in the floor
Webs of distractions
Wooden statues glow throughout
Faces like Casper
Bodies and human skeletons cease
The numbers count down from one hundred
Starting at twenty three
The over passers watch from the birds
The lights blink signaling the scurries
Jump start
Atoms and molecules collide
So many eyes peering
Whispers and giggling
Out with the old
Cut off the dried
Replenished
