Christmas

The under lit Christmas lights on the tree glistened with a dim sadness
The boy sat and drank his hot coco staring out the frosty winter frozen window
Hoping to see the man that would one day bring his wish come true
He drifted to sleep now and again only to be woken by the cat purring at his ankles
Sitting in that rustic red wood chair covered with his mothers woven blankets
He spoke to the snow as if it were his friends telling him about his dreams
Painting little snowmen on the glass with his finger tips
His mother was asleep curled up in her bed sheets
His eyes searched the stars watching for the slightest movement
Puzzled and grim his face melted towards the floor
Looking behind him to see the plate of cookies
Still intact he bowed his head in disappointment
Wondering about the images he had remembered he could not keep them in his mind
They would appear and vanish within seconds
Struggling to hold on to them he became weak
Tears began to drip down over his lips settling on the back of his hand
He wiped his nose with out sniffling keeping his noise low
Looking out his window he hoped to see the man that would make his wish come true
He never asked for anything except the same thing each Christmas
All he had ever wanted was to see his father once more

Burn

The television must shine

Potatoes are taking their form

The tomatoes are undoing their makeup

Let them in, drop them in, let them wash away

Hold your breath and name them lonely

Sinking like a submarine

Only able to go under

Stuck in the bottle prevailing through the struggle

Stimulants and the bring you downs

Make these worlds go round

The brain has gone and left town

Breaking to be intoxicated

How long until the toddler ways loose their games

Lucky to make it past the high noon sun

And I ain’t no hero but that will never be me

Never be me again watching for the high noon sun

It is a torch that’s going to light this forest on fire

Light this world on fire and let it burn through to the sky

Cause the brains are waiting for something that will never arrive

Hoot And Holler

The caption of imagery concerning the category

Stated in the license should be represented with a penalty

Under going the business during the construction to the critics

Flowing through the hands of the youthful political parties

Minding the thought of the mockings using made up words

Placing in orders condescendingly laughing in the faces of the poshies

Giving new meanings to the lives we need embracing

Exploding through these ceilings sharing the ideas made in the homebodies

Vibrant colours and new world orders never the less scheming developing contractors

Exposing the new children of this revolution

Creating homes in the streets under the vast street lights

Puzzling the educated minds creating confusion in the homeroom

Disagreeing with a definition only made by the upright

Rulers and law givers rallying the constitution of the meaning

Mean while we create loads more to destroy the very reason they are hoot and hollering

New moldings and creative reconstructing shaping the philosophies of what we call our own

Expressing the positive energetic exploring of our fruitfulness

Embracing the questions asked associated with the after math of our talents

Accepting the pleasure that we find in the love letters and the crate canvas carriers

Introducing some to the rebirth of the reasons we first started this life

Engulfed in the highs each one of us seek after

Playing off one another to find more and more pleasure

We as the new people can not afford what they say we are supposed to

Instead we make it

Sounds Like Discover

Cars that go over and cars that go nowhere
Don't mind me in the slightest interest
Trains and planes and all the big crazy things
Concern me less than none minus one
Critters, bugs, and the tiny little slugs
Come short of my troubled long days
All throughout this world do I sleep on fretting
Slinging my conceptions to the bodies of vast liquid gatherings
I dreamt of a waking hour that I could say I cared about this before
Then a word washed ashore
I called out I want more, oh give me more
I saw that face peering up along the shore
That day lives were changed and things never could look the same
We had survived through his story channel
It was then that I realized, throwing me into something that I thrived
I could not live alone without her anymore
Going on I could not bare knowing that you were all my glory
We started over and imparted on this grown up journey
Packed the bags and headed to the west
Called it a quest and pressed on towards the west
You are what I call the best
Call me silly and say that I am immature but I know for sure
That you are my love bird and the honey bee that sits on the apple tree
Always and forever next to me

Store Born Story

Sitting on your balcony I watched you float like a butterfly
Catching the corner of my eye I could not look away
The smoke filled your lungs and the wine spilled down your throat
They left us deserted and uneasy
Rain trickled down the roof and made the mud fill the dirt
The weeks absence made the presence irresistible
The dogs tore down the exterior
With the walls broken we ran
This is no prime time dream
We were in the coverings and ditched the coating
Producing rain from the clouds in our head
Exploring the interior of each other
This is a story not from the store
We will be a threat
Riding on a pair of success
I wasn't ready for this plan of attack
Acting on a sentiment of sensation
The night goes on

Until Then

Holding you my minds at ease

Sailing on a pirate ship into the sun setting day

Dark night on a long highway

Somebody is staying up late

And I'll be true

Oh you know I will

Until heaven or until

I go home

Darling it’s great to be alive

It takes the white right from my eyes

I've chased you

And I’ll be true

Oh you know I will

Until heaven or until

I go home

Little lights in the houses

Say that someone is staying up late

I hear your blue

And I need you

Oh you know I will

Until heaven or until

I go home

I cannot dream of a day without you

Laying in a bed I dream

I’ll have you all to myself

And I need you

Oh you know I will

Until heaven or until

I go home

Behavior Disorder

Mind over body
Better yet mind over mind
The constant tug of war is wearing down my bones
Heave Hoe I am battling myself
Yes no yes yes no no no
In limbo with my decisions
I can't tell which is stronger my mind or my brain
I discuss it with the neutral
Coming up short of the external
Nervous ticks shutter throughout my body
The sign of my mind winning
Too soon to rejoice
Keeping my head down
Feeling like I am tip toeing to the edge of a cliff
Anything could now tip me over
Self discipline
Concentration
Mind over body
Utter focused fusion
Completely trained
Robotic
Staying in doors
They are the enemy
Oh God please help me
I can't tell which one I am fighting anymore
Mind mind mind body mind body
Yes no yes no yes yes yes no no
Scattered are my thoughts
Autopilot thoughts
Sustained clashing
This is bearable
I feel like I am dying
I can win
I can win
Breath remember to breath
This will all be over soon

The Day

Drum roll please
Her she comes
Strolling under the mistletoe
Glistening in the rays of the sun
Taking it all in
The eyes turn
Before everything stops
Let me tell you something
She was a beautiful dove
Careless and smooth
Full of white materials
Her hair is flowing yellow
For the day has come
Everything in it's place
Exercised in love
Speechless to the sight of her
Everyone in awe
Beauty can not describe her
She is an open fire
Shifting with the wind
Changing shapes at ease
Dancing over the coals beneath
Hot to the core
Yellow as the sun
We are far from the end
And then everything stops

I Was Impressed

You took me by surprise when you hit me across the face
Smacked me through to reality with the back of your hand
With society at large I saw you in a whole different light
Twisting my thinker into a tumbler under the force of the collision
You sent me for a ride unlike any roller coaster I've seen
Leaving me blank faced feeling like an uneducated child
Dazed in my stare buckling under the pressure
My skin was as white as parchment
The light bulb clicked turning it on
You broke my window down
I was impressed
Despite all the mess and the broken glass
I was impressed
I watched the show from the bottom of the lake
And it all happened so fast

The Worries

Oh little johnny walked out his door this morning
Out into the bright bright sun
Walking through his life having fun
She took his hand and whisked him to the downtown parade
Without a care in his brain he whistled the tunes of his childhood
Raising his eyes to meet the birds in the trees
He saw her staring in her wonders at the green grass
Pulling her down to his lips he said dear miss lady
Let's take to the grass and make our own little parade
Laughing at the thought of the drums applauding to their footsteps
He took her hand and skipped through the long blades
Showing her the childhood she hadn't experienced
Shouting out oh care care what do we need to care
Let loose send those birds through their hoops
Almost as if he had his own gold treasures no one else had found
He measured his fun in tons
She was amazed with the care or the lack of in his lively lifestyle
Asking him questions like what if and what about
He closed her mouth with his fingers and whispered
Shh you might wake them
Who? She exclaimed
Smiling to his ears he giggled back with the worries!

Northern

Going back to the north
Leaving the form of home
Created by us individuals
Jumping the train
Playing cat and mouse through the week
I keep this picture next to me
Shooting through the pain of my heart
She has got a merchandise line pulling her along
Get out your notepads and pens
Write down your thoughts
Get out your tear drops cups
I'll try and keep up
The tale of our grim and glory
Has no genre we walk outside the square
I think they envy us
Playing their sad songs of past memories
We sing the melodies of future
This ship has sailed to the north
Without the one I love
I write this down in tears not shown
No goodbyes or farewells
Because this master plan
Will not be ruined by the weather
I keep my bags packed
Because I'm coming
Oh I will be coming back home
