The Worries

Oh little johnny walked out his door this morning
Out into the bright bright sun
Walking through his life having fun
She took his hand and whisked him to the downtown parade
Without a care in his brain he whistled the tunes of his childhood
Raising his eyes to meet the birds in the trees
He saw her staring in her wonders at the green grass
Pulling her down to his lips he said dear miss lady
Let's take to the grass and make our own little parade
Laughing at the thought of the drums applauding to their footsteps
He took her hand and skipped through the long blades
Showing her the childhood she hadn't experienced
Shouting out oh care care what do we need to care
Let loose send those birds through their hoops
Almost as if he had his own gold treasures no one else had found
He measured his fun in tons
She was amazed with the care or the lack of in his lively lifestyle
Asking him questions like what if and what about
He closed her mouth with his fingers and whispered
Shh you might wake them
Who? She exclaimed
Smiling to his ears he giggled back with the worries!
