Permanent Motion

Drifting, Sleeping with my eyes open
This spell feels like I am in a picture
Stationary, lifted by the hands of the movers
Carefully placed in between boxes like a game of tetris
Floating, flying in bed above the wheels
Pot holes and speed bumps shifting my position
Peering, visible passer bys spying me
Destination unknown by my eyes
Steady, constant breeze flowing through the cracks
Permanent convertible with a view of blue
Cool, air condition weather I like it or not
Body warmth next to my cardboard friends
Guessing, mind games played by pit stops
Long enough to be real but movement is absent
Melodies, horns and purring of gears shifting
Tires over reflecting bumps and grinding of axles
Turned off, engines final roar settling
Locks pop, hinges squeak, feet grounded
Were here, arrival successful, destination complete, move accomplished.

Friendless

Friend is a funny word.
A friend can come in any form you want it to.
The hardest part to grasp about friends is the fact that not all people are meant to be your friends.
Friends can either be short or long term.
The people that say "they were never really friends in the first place" is a lie.
They were your friend or maybe even your close friend at that, they just weren't one of your long term friends.
Just because you grew apart does not mean you take them out of the friend category.
Most of the time when friends grow apart there is that feeling of rejection or anger towards the opposite person.
The best thing to do in my mind is figure out who your long term friends are and nurture those friendships.
Be selfless and caring so that in the long run you will still have those friends next to you.
If you put to much effort into those dying relationships then you will come out empty and alone.
Evaluate your friends.

Find Enjoyment

I have been told a lot of things, none of which have helped me to find enjoyment in my life.
I think people tend to stress about the little meaningless speed bumps more than important things.
I have found that life takes patience and perseverance to stay grounded and stable.
The early sun rise in it's self is proof enough to be joyful in your life.
God created light for us so we didn't have to live in the dark, yet most people I know think the morning is boring and or annoying.
God shows us that we don't have to live in darkness.
I look at the morning as a blessing and the reassurance.
When that sun peaks its head over the mountain tops it is soothing.
Remember how blessed we are.
Looking at life not worrying about the small things is the single most enjoyable state of mind I have come to.

Blue

She has Jupiter in her eyes

The black fluctuates with the light

and White clouds surround the outer blue circles

Oceans and galaxies combine swirling into effect

Little brown specks so tiny they are barely visible

Moisture creating a reflective layer

My love resides in her eyes

Clean as water

Three clicks to the left and the water starts to dribble out of the faucet
The cold turns to heat and the steam begins to rise
Humming from the overhead vent vibrates through the tile
The sliding door squeaks shut behind him
Flushed with warm water
An array of feminine products absurdly stating nonsense
The droplets of water piling up on the glass and separately make a break for the bottom
Pipes pump the water from the ground up through and rattle their way out
His hair is drenched and his body soaked
The aroma of the soap flutters through the air
At the cream colored wooden door comes a knock
Through the water stained glass he sees a mouth filled out with white teeth
Her clothing drops the floor
The glass slides and she steps in
He slips into a lusting adventure
Half past eleven and he clicks the knob three to the right
The water is off and towels are snatched
The flowery rug leaves the evidence of two sunken into it
It's time to start the day

Get Me In Here

It started with a spark but sounded like a bang
Looked like a bomb but felt like a feather
Choices of immortality argue back and forth
Give the gift of love they say
Do what feels good they say
Think the unthinkable, do the undo able
Audible, tangible, and tasteful
Who could do this?
When is it time?
Where is the right?
What is it to me?
In a blink it was brought
Selfish? Never
Fallen for this spell
Time is a standstill
Monitoring the outcome
Studying the outlook
Boxes and boxes unraveling
Laying themselves onto the table
Look at me they say!
Here I am they say!
Giddy, bouncing, and laughing
Show me the belly of this
Climb out of that womb
Going back is a decision that will never be thought
Its so comfortable in here its getting cramped

Shook

Unattractive self inflicting vertical pain
Lay beside the curtains
The words of acknowledgment repeating
Sticking to the side panels
Glued to images
Watching the movements of spiders
Slipping through the cracks in the floor
Webs of distractions
Wooden statues glow throughout
Faces like Casper
Bodies and human skeletons cease
The numbers count down from one hundred
Starting at twenty three
The over passers watch from the birds
The lights blink signaling the scurries
Jump start
Atoms and molecules collide
So many eyes peering
Whispers and giggling
Out with the old
Cut off the dried
Replenished

Common Ordinarily Creative Attitude In Notched Earth

Finger tips tremble
Head shakes
Hands clapping
Feet tapping
The sound of the bass
Spracked
All these things I used to be
In the future I won't be
I don't fear for I can't die
Who is here to create me
Climb about my soul
Hi
My body has taken a toll
Haunting
Tempting
Calling
Wanting
Dying for me

Bubble

We live in this box that no one can break...
We can't see past all of the shit that absorbs in us
We can't even tell what happens thirty miles from here
"If it doesn't affect me, why care?"
That is the response I get
Open your eyes
People are dying
Educate yourself in something other than "popularity"
You are oblivious
All you worry about is how long the line is
At your local Starbucks
Pathetic
Kids having their arms cut off
Starving
Rape
Mothers being gunned down while holding their infants
AIDS
Infections...
Oh I am sorry is that too vivid?
Face the facts
You are in a bubble

Friend

I need a friend that knows me
I need a friend I can trust
I need a friend that doesn't ask me "why"
I need a friend that I can share stories with
I need a friend that hears my words
I need a friend that listens
I need a friend that loves me
I need a friend that wants me
I need a friend that dreams with me
I need a friend that will be irrational with me
I need a friend that doesn't judge me
I need a friend that hugs me
I need a friend that asks me "How are you?"
I just really want a friend...
